For the serious angler looking for a true once-in-a-lifetime experience, our FAD (Fish Aggregating Device) Trip is the ultimate offshore fishing adventure. Journey over 100 miles offshore aboard the Hooked Up, targeting massive blue marlin, black marlin, and other deep-sea predators in the fertile waters around Costa Rica’s seamounts.

What to Expect

  • Departure: Early morning from Marina Pez Vela, Quepos

  • Duration: 36–48 hours (overnight charter)

  • Target Species: Blue marlin, black marlin, swordfish, mahi-mahi, and more

  • Fishing Style: Trolling, live baiting, chunking near FADs and seamounts
